List of Goods that are ineligible for the Removals in Bond Regime

On 7th April, 2022, the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) issued a notice to Clearing Agents Associations, their members, and the public on the goods excluded from being processed under the Removals in Bond (RsIB) Regime. This is in accordance with the provisions of Section 32(7) of the Customs Excise Act, CAP 322 of the Laws of Zambia. The following goods have been excluded from being processed under the RsIB regime:

  1. Second-hand clothes and shoes
  2. Cooking oil
  3. Alcohol
  4.  Tobacco
  5. Cigarettes
  6. Groceries
  7. Electronics
  8. Fabric
  9. Furniture
  10. Cosmetics
  11. Hardware
  12. Motor Vehicle Parts
  13. Second hand vehicles (except those for authorised dealers with bonded warehouse facilities)

 

NOTE: This list of goods will be revised from time to time

            All applications for RsIB are to be submitted through the office of the Regional Assistant Commissioner for the entry port.
